Summer started strong at Umpf, with standout national PR coverage and earned media wins across major UK titles. From TV segments and newspaper features to influencer activations and TikTok stunts, here’s a look at what we delivered for our clients this May and June.
💡 4lite: Garden Lighting & Summer Outdoor Inspiration
Lighting brand 4lite featured in Grand Designs and Ideal Home, sharing expert tips on garden lighting, from hanging festoon lights to creating stunning outdoor living spaces. In June, 4lite earned a Telegraph Recommends nod for two top-rated solar lighting products – a glowing endorsement ahead of peak summer season.
🛏️ Harrison Spinks: Best Luxury & Organic Mattresses
Premium bedmaker Harrison Spinks earned two Good Housekeeping mentions — one for the best luxury mattresses and one for the best organic mattresses of 2025. The brand was also featured in These Three Rooms, offering expert advice on how to keep bedrooms cool in summer heat.
🍽️ Belling: Energy-Saving Recipes in the i Paper
Belling’s energy-efficient recipes continued to inspire this summer, with two features in the i Paper’s Daily Recipe column. The coverage highlighted Belling’s mission to bring budget-friendly and sustainable cooking to UK homes.
🌈 Gunwharf Quays: City of Pride
To celebrate Portsmouth being named the UK’s City of Pride, Gunwharf Quays unveiled five bold murals by regional artists. The colourful tribute to love, unity, and acceptance featured on Good Morning Britain, generating national buzz and regional pride.
👗 Westgate Oxford: Lisa Snowdon on ITV’s This Morning
Continuing the trend of national TV coverage, we arranged for ITV’s Lisa Snowdon to visit Westgate Oxford and help shoppers find the latest fashion finds. The piece was aired live on This Morning, and we achieved four unique segments.
🎂 Westwood Cross: 20-Year Anniversary Campaign
Broadstairs shopping centre, Westwood Cross celebrated 20 years with a campaign that resulted in widespread regional coverage, including interviews we arranged between staff and BBC Radio Kent, and a shiny BBC Online piece that was a retrospective look back at the centre and it’s launch back in 2005.
👹 Braintree Village: A Monster Launch
We’ve supported with the announcement and launch of the Monster at Braintree Village – one of the world’s largest inflatable assault courses. News of the Monster reached far and wide, with a piece landing in the Sun.
🤳 Bluewater: From TikTok to Tabloids
Spotting the perfect fit for Bluewater’s diverse day-out offering, we invited TikTok creator and self-proclaimed as a ‘mere yank amongst Brits’ @kjordyyy to visit the Kent-based centre to capture content for his social channels. His post not only sparked high engagement from his audience, but also caught the eye of regional and national media, including: Kent Live, Mirror, Daily Star, and Daily Express.
