In April we headed to Manchester Hall for the PRmoment Awards 2026, leaving with a whopping five wins (joint most awarded agency on the night) and the title of “Definitely, Maybe, the Greatest Name in UK PR”, given by PRmoment founder Ben Smith after our Oasis-inspired Wonderwall campaign won PR Stunt of the Year.
The PRmoment Awards celebrate the best in UK PR and Communications, and this year’s results reflect a strong run for Team Umpf across creativity, community engagement, and standout stunts.
It was a strong shortlist, and we were delighted to come away with awards for our work with St David’s Cardiff and Trinity Leeds, alongside a very proud moment for one of our own, Danni Griffin, recognised in the individual categories as Young Professional of the Year!

🏆 Community Engagement Campaign of the Year (Gold Winner)
Umpf & Trinity Leeds – Campaign Visible from ‘Smiles’ Away
To celebrate Leeds United’s Premier League promotion, Umpf created a 306sqm LUFC Smiley badge on Trinity Leeds’ iconic dome, alongside a “Wall of Support” that invited fans to get involved.
Despite tight timelines and a modest budget, the campaign struck a chord with the city, driving hundreds of pieces of UGC, strong media coverage and a 57.6% uplift in footfall.
The judges said: “Great to see a proactive idea that fed into community engagement, highlighting the agency’s understanding of the local community. Simple and effective campaign that overcame budget and timing restrictions to generate strong footfall to the centre.”

🏆 Health, Beauty, Retail & Fashion Marketing Communications Campaign of the Year (Gold Winner)
Umpf & St David’s Cardiff – The Wonder Wall: Creating a Supernova Spectacle at St David’s
To mark the first stop on the Oasis reunion tour, Umpf created The Wonder Wall installation at St David’s Cardiff, turning the centre into a national talking point and placing it right at the heart of the Oasis Live ’25 tour launch with a bold, visually striking installation – even earning the approval of Oasis themselves.
The judges said: “Amazing campaign tapping into a key cultural moment, creative ideas, local links and massively outperforming expectations.”

🥇 PR Stunt of the Year (Gold Winner)
Umpf & St David’s Cardiff – The Wonder Wall: Creating a Supernova Spectacle at St David’s
ANOTHER win for The Wonder Wall, this time recognising the sheer visual impact and smart thinking behind turning a retail space into a global spectacle.
The judges said: “Brilliant visual with some smart thinking to maximise the impact of the idea.”

Young Professional Of The Year – Gold Winner: Danni Griffin – Umpf
Gold Winner: Danni Griffin – Umpf
Our very own PR & Influencer Account Director, Danni Griffin, was recognised for her rapid progression, excellent leadership and impact across major national accounts, including Landsec’s national portfolio.
Over the past year she’s led an influencer programme delivering record results, run high-profile PR campaigns, and played an immense role in shaping both the culture and social value work at Umpf. Resilient, commercially astute and creatively driven, Danni represents the next generation of PR leadership.
The judges said: “An inspiration to not only tackle health challenges, but to ensure others in similar positions are heard and supported through policy-change.”

🥈 Best Creativity (Silver Winner)
Umpf & St David’s Cardiff – The Wonder Wall: Creating a Supernova Spectacle at St David’s
The Wonder Wall once again delivered, putting St David’s Cardiff right at the centre of a cultural moment and generating standout visibility on a national stage.
A mix of timing, creativity and cultural relevance meant the campaign didn’t just land – it kept going, outperforming expectations and driving sustained engagement.
The judges said: “Incredible results, and I love the addition of the creative hook contingency!”

Five very well-deserved wins, and a brilliant night at Manchester Hall – we left feeling very tri(umpf)ant!
