Instagram’s Age Check Policy
Instagram will start asking new members to provide their date of birth when setting up an account to deliver more age-appropriate experiences and help keep young people safe.
The current age requirement to use the app is 13 years old, and Instagram says the new safety check will help create more tailored experiences and highlight account controls and privacy settings for young people.
Users on Instagram will soon be required to enter their birth date in order to use the app. The changes are being made to ensure the platform is safer for younger users, the company said.https://t.co/I4TNIkWxGn
