National Client Media Coverage (Mar-Apr 2024)

We’ve had a bumper few months in March and April here at Umpf HQ, and the coverage has been rolling in for our clients from across the board. We’ve had hundreds of pieces of regional and sector-specific media clippings, but it’s often the nationals that set the pulses racing…

March and April was a busy one for the Umpf Bluewater shopping centre team.  The Kent centre – one of Europe’s leading retail and leisure destinations – will soon be welcoming a huge state-of-the-art football dome attraction, backed by footballing legend Rio Ferdinand – news of the launch was covered in The Sun (watch out for the launch coverage in our next round-up). We also supported the shopping centre’s 25th anniversary activity, which – as well as landing 46 pieces of print, online, and broadcast coverage with a reach of more than 91.6m – included our spectacular drone display stunt. The team also set up two reviews of the centre’s Hangloose attraction which included a full page in The Sun, a video review online and another piece in the Express.

Lighting brand 4lite lit-up print and online media, appearing in various key publications including Kitchen Bedrooms and Bathrooms, Grazia Daily, Ideal Home, Evening Standard, plus glowing reviews in T3‘s smart lighting guide.

SWEAT Fitness and Wellbeing Festival at both Gunwharf Quays and Westgate Oxford made waves in health and wellness roundups in Stylist and Country Living, inspiring readers to spend the summer months nurturing the mind and body.

Luxury mattress brand Harrison Spinks received the sought-after “The Telegraph Recommend” accreditation after a top review in the title’s Best Pocket Sprung Mattress round-up.

Glasgow shopping centre Buchanan Galleries appeared in The Scottish Sun, Glasgow Live, and Glasgow Evening Times for the impending launch of the pre-loved fashion superstore, Charity Super.Mkt. The launch event is due to take place on the 9th of May – watch this space for the full lowdown!

We secured more than 100 pieces of national and regional coverage for cooking appliance brand Belling’s innovative energy-saving recipe book campaign, including a glorious DPS in Chat magazine. The recipe book, available to download from Belling’s website, is packed with delicious, budget-friendly dishes to cook and enjoy as a family, with each recipe specially created as a lower-energy version of a much-loved dish.

We’ve been firing on all cylinders for St David’s in Cardiff, with Culture Cardiff’s in-depth review of The Ivy Asia’s Taste of Asia menu in the centre engaging an audience of foodies and receiving over 124.5K views on TikTok, while influencer Carys Whittaker’s shopping trip around the centre amassed a whopping 1 million views on social media!
