Ever fancied being the digital eyes and ears of the monarchy? Well now you can!
The Royal Family is officially on the hunt for a digital media whiz to run their social channels, including their Facebook and Instagram page, plus numerous Twitter accounts which all have millions of devoted followers.
The chosen candidate will get a sweet £30,000 a year, 33 days of annual leave and better yet – the opportunity to call Buckingham Palace their office. Neat, huh?

Millions of Instagram Influencers Have Private Data Exposed
A database leak has reportedly exposed the personal information of millions of Instagram influencers.
The database, which contained information such as phone numbers and email addresses, was traced back to a marketing company based in India – and is being investigated by Instagram.
As well as a privacy headache for the platform, this practice of scraping user’s data en masse is banned by the terms of service, as it offers rich pickings for hackers.

TikTok Taking on the Music World
TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, is reportedly close to launching a music streaming service to rival that of Spotify and Apple.
TikTok, the incredibly popular app which has been downloaded by over 500 million users, is popular for its unique music-led short form videos, and is now looking to move in on the music streaming industry.
Currently the new service is only planned to launch in China, India and parts of Africa, however a successful campaign may see it be rolled out globally.

IGTV Gets a Refresh
IGTV, Instagram’s video-sharing feature, has been given a refresh in a bid to boost popularity.
The feature, which was rolled out almost a year ago, has yet to gain significant traction, and is now sporting a look which mimics that of Snapchat and rising newcomer TikTok.
Replacing the single feed format for large video tiles, the feature hopes to keep users watching more content for longer.

And Finally… Goodbye Grumpy Cat
We end with the heart-breaking news that Grumpy Cat, the internet’s most famous feline, has passed away.
The cat’s owners posted a heartfelt message to the official Grumpy Cat Facebook page announcing the news last week, which was met with over 40,000 comments of condolences and commiserations from fans.
The seven-year-old cat, famous for being one of the biggest memes on the internet, has amassed millions of fans from around the world due to its naturally narky expression – and she shall most definitely be missed.
